My person says it’s awfully ratty looking.
When I went to bed last night she threw my hat away.

I heard Pippi saying she was coming .
I needed to wait until she could get up the side of the wastebasket.
She had picked up the dog leash on the floor
and wrapped it around her.
She told me to hook it to myself.

Hooked the leash to me.
Pippi started pulling me up.

That was a long way down.
Thanks to Pippi neither my hat nor
myself will be thrown out with the trash.
We slid down to the floor and walked home.

she would understand how much my hat means to me.
I will be forever grateful to her.
I am going to talk to my person.
I need to make sure she doesn’t throw my
hat away until I don’t want it anymore.
Pippi is cute – is she new? I am sure A Corn will be glad to have an ally!

Thank you ! Pippi has been living here for a number of months. She has just been taking it easy out of sight.

How ghastly to have one’s favorite hat thrown in the trash!!! Shocking behavior…I am hopeful that your person is now aware of your emotional attachment to that hat.. However ACorn we both know she is a hat wizard and there are probably a lot of hats in your future (and Pippa’s!)

I think I made my person understand that my hat is very important to me. She make another hat to replace the ratty one. My ratty hat is still my favorite.
