I agree the lace dress doesn’t suit a playful girl, though it is beautiful! How nice that she now has a cute checked dress to play in – and I see she couldn’t give up her finery altogether and has retained a lacy collar!

She is just that kind of girl has to have some lace. We balanced her dress out by leaving a raw edge at her skirt. Feels more like a play dress that way.

I believe that she will be charming her way into a complete wardrobe from her resident seamstress!! She is just such a cutie and looks so sweet in that pink check!
