Flood Waters

ACorn 1 Minute
It has been raining everyday.
Around here a few areas are flooded .
I wanted to go down to the nearby dam to see
just how much water was being held back.
The water is high but not as bad as I thought it would be..
A collection of logs and trash are gathering.
Watching closely I could see fish coming to the surface of the water.
It could be scary up here if a breeze was blowing.
I’m happy the water isn’t higher.
You can see some of the trees are under water.
It has been a nice afternoon to come outside.
I’ve seen what’s going on with the flood waters.
I know much more rain is arriving tonight.
Hoping nicer weather comes to help dry the saturated ground.

  2. We also took a drive to look at the high water in our area. Lakes are FULL and there is a lot of flooding along the big rivers but we are high and dry at home. Glad you are safe and keeping dry. MOre rain expected here tomorrow.
