She brought a doll and her sewing basket.
It has been awhile since we’ve been together.
Gran sat back in her chair .
She started telling me stories about when she was a young girl.
She said she had a little doll just like the one she brought with her.
It is so nice when Gran comes to visit even if she isn’t my Gran.

Gran’s rocking chair is lovely (and familiar!). Isn’t it nice to have a wise and kind older visitor.

It is nice to have a wise Gran to tell you stories. She said I could be her adopted Grandchild. The Grans all have rocking chairs and a spare for me.

There are not many things nicer then a loving Grandmother rocking and telling stories. So happy for ACorn that he has been adopted by this lovely Grandma!
